Senior Clinical Data Engineer (LATAM)

Overview

Senior Clinical Data Engineer (LATAM) to build and optimize clinical data systems for global trials across LATAM countries.

What you'll do

• Lead development and optimization of clinical data systems and pipelines across global trials.
• Drive enterprise data standardization, including data mapping and governance across programs.
• Build scalable validation frameworks to detect and resolve systemic data issues.
• Architect secure, high-performance relational databases and data lakes.
• Develop dynamic dashboards and analytics tools for real-time trial and data-quality insights.
• Oversee regulatory alignment with GCP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11, including documentation and audit trails.
• Use SAS (and preferred Python/R/SQL) to build and maintain modular, high-performance codebases and support automation.

What you'll need

• 6+ years experience in clinical monitoring, clinical trial management, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (life sciences, statistics, data management, or clinical operations) or equivalent combination.
• Advanced programming and automation skills including database design and dashboard development.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to learn protocol and electronic study data system information extraction.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data monitoring tools.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
