Overview

Embedded Software Engineer role focused on firmware and low-level development for communication-oriented hardware.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for communication devices.
• Integrate and test firmware and low-level code.
• Interact hands-on with hardware and embedded processors.
• Optimize code for footprint and performance.
• Apply Software Development Lifecycle fundamentals across architecture, implementation, and testing.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7+ years (max 11 years) of relevant embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Extensive firmware development experience, preferably for Ethernet-like communication devices.
• Experience with Xilinx/AMD SoC, ARM v8 architecture, and Linux device drivers or RTOS device drivers.
• Proven integration and testing experience for firmware and low-level code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Embedded programming for hardware buses such as I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and USB.
• Experience building automotive or other safety-critical systems using MISRA, ASPICE, and ISO26262.
• Experience with communication protocols including Ethernet MAC/PHY, TCP/IP, PCIe, NTB, and SR-IOV.
• Experience with bootloaders such as uboot or similar and video processing standards/protocols.
