Overview
Senior System Applications Engineer in the IoT and Edge AI Solutions team, designing and delivering system-level projects for Edge AI and IoT applications.
What you'll do
- Translate marketing requirements into technical requirements and specifications.
- Architect hardware for system projects.
- Work with project managers to develop engineering project plans.
- Collaborate with groups and partners to deliver hardware-based systems.
- Create technical documentation.
- Support go-to-market activities including technical training, trade show demos, and customer support.
What you'll need
- 5-8 years of experience with embedded system design.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Experience with C and C++.
- Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
- Experience with embedded software or microcontroller platforms including one or more listed (Infineon, XMC, PSoC, OPTIGA, Arduino, STM32, iMX RT, Raspberry Pi).
- Hardware design and debug skills including PCB schematic review and board bring-up.
- Experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and modern IoT protocols (Matter, BLE Mesh, Thread) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
Nice to have
- Experience with Python scripting and data analysis, and TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks.
- Experience with model optimization or quantization for embedded AI (TinyML, TensorFlow Lite, etc.).
- Publications, patents, or conference presentations in embedded AI or IoT.
