Engineer – Cyber Security

Overview

Engineer – Cyber Security for FACTS/STATCOM projects, focused on OT/ICS cybersecurity engineering across architecture, implementation, validation, and lifecycle management.

What you'll do

• Develop cyber security architecture for EHV/substation and FACTS projects.
• Prepare cyber security design documents, hardening guidelines, and implementation procedures.
• Perform security risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis for OT/ICS environments.
• Configure and implement network and remote-access security controls (firewalls, managed switches, VLANs, VPNs, security gateways).
• Develop secure network architecture for SCADA, HMI, engineering workstations, RTUs, gateways, and protection IEDs.
• Support FACT/SAT cyber security testing, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security audits.

What you'll need

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in Substation/FACTS/HVDC/substation projects.
• Minimum 1–2 years specifically in STATCOM/FACTS/HVDC projects.
• Experience with IEC 62443, IEC 62351, ISO 27001, and NERC CIP.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850-based substation automation systems.
• Hands-on OT/ICS security engineering skills including firewalls, VLAN/VPN, and network segmentation.
• BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering (preferably power system).
