OT CyberSecurity Engineer

Overview

OT CyberSecurity Engineer for securing customer Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) by evaluating and deploying security tools and controls aligned to IEC 62443.

What you'll do

• Map, design, and implement IEC 62443 security controls.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and threat assessments.
• Configure and deploy OT security tooling for IAM, logging, vulnerability management, backups, and hardening.
• Execute OT-safe passive and active vulnerability scanning and assessments.
• Harden systems across physical devices, virtual environments, software components, and network devices.
• Evaluate and lead Proof of Concepts for OT threat intelligence and monitoring platforms.
• Enforce IAM controls including MFA and RBAC and maintain security monitoring for incident response readiness.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of relevant OT CyberSecurity experience.
• Hands-on experience configuring Linux operating systems and deploying security agents.
• Hands-on experience with OT vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing, and security analysis tools for ICS environments.
• Foundational knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation using the Purdue Model.
• Deep understanding of MQTT, Modbus, and ZMQ messaging protocols.
• Familiarity with scripting/automation tools, specifically Python and Ansible.
