Engineer

Overview

Engineer role (BOM work for Diesel Engines) at RSC (Rehlko Services Center, India) focused on executing BOM and related tasks in SAP for the Power Train- Engines team.

What you'll do

• Execute BOM work tasks in SAP with little direction.
• Enter and maintain engine master data and related BOM/spare parts/CKD data.
• Perform MAT entry, assign consumption/experimental codes, and maintain SAP BOMs and master data.
• Manage BOM and item master data storage versions, including creation and corrections.
• Release, revise, void materials and release/revise BOMs in SAP per internal release procedure.
• Support BOM analysis and manage lists across plants using two ERP systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional and interplant activities for BOM/item master data management.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of industrial work experience in SAP & change coordinator role.
• Proficiency in SAP data entry for material master, BOM, and change master.
• Basic knowledge/experience of PLM, preferably PTC Windchill.
• Ability to perform basic drawing reviews to verify BOM, drawing revision, and changes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
