Database Administrator (MySQL,PostgreSQL)

Overview

Database Administrator responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and securing Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL database environments.

What you'll do

• Monitor and maintain SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL database environments.
• Ensure database availability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Tune performance by optimizing SQL queries, indexes, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Troubleshoot database incidents and support timely resolution.
• Investigate and resolve blocking, long-running queries, and locking issues.
• Manage database users, roles, permissions, and access requests.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

What you'll need

• B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of hands-on Database Administration experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of query performance tuning.
• Knowledge of stored procedures/functions/views/triggers and index management.
• Familiarity with Azure database environments and monitoring tools.
