Engineer - DevOps 4A

Overview

Engineer for a DevOps program at Genpact, covering DevOps maturity assessment, roadmap build, and engineering solutions, with a focus on CI/CD, cloud, and infrastructure automation.

What you'll do

• Implement a DevOps program, starting with maturity assessment, roadmap build and engineering solution.
• Work with support teams to identify and implement automation in appropriate areas.
• Work closely with DevOps Architects to analyze, review and clarify design and architecture on tools implementation, build and deploy automation.
• Document as-is state of environment, gap analysis, come up with options, and recommendations.
• Develop scripts for automated deployments and tests.
• Enable infrastructure and application monitoring.
• Design, implement, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline.
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues in the production environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure efficient delivery.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures in the software development process.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Master's in Computer Science.
• Implementation experience of running a DevOps program starting with maturity assessment, roadmap build and engineering solution.
• Good exposure to cloud, either of AWS.
• Strong familiarity with SCM, Clearcase, SVN, Git, including branching and merging strategies.
• Deep knowledge of CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) methodologies with Jenkins.
• Language proficiency: English, Proficient - C2.

Nice to have

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - CNCF.
• HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate - Udemy.
