Engineer-Electrical

Overview

Electrical Design Engineer focused on preparing electrical design documents, wiring schemes/layout/diagrams, and technical drawings for engineered-to-order (ETO) switchgear and related equipment.

What you'll do

• Ensure customer specifications are complete and request additional information when needed.
• Create electrical wiring schemes and layout designs using tools like EPLAN and AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical.
• Design electrical schematics in adherence to standards such as ANSI, UL, IEEE, or IEC and apply ANSI/IEC symbols.
• Perform quality checks to ensure drawings meet customer standards/requirements.
• Prepare bills of material and create proper product ERP configuration compatible with customer requests.
• Support internal teams on electrical implementation feasibility and component availability.
• Do control/power cable sizing and component mounting for electrical products.

What you'll need

• BE in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–4 years experience is stated for the role.
• Minimum 2 years experience in electrical design for switchgears, panel boards, and switches.
• Hands-on knowledge of LV products.
• Experience with ERP software and electrical CAD tools/drawing practices.
• Effective communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (verbal and written).
