Engineer - Firmware

Overview

Firmware Engineer position in Bangalore supporting embedded firmware design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance for electronic products and systems.

What you'll do

• Understand firmware scope and requirements for modules and subsystems.
• Participate in firmware specification development, architecture, and design.
• Design, develop, and debug new embedded firmware for electronic products.
• Maintain and improve existing firmware designs and source code for modular structure.
• Perform code reviews, documentation, and unit/integration/system testing.
• Support validation testing with validation lab (FW validation test code and product validation code).
• Deliver to objectives by meeting deadlines and schedules.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years embedded electronics experience in firmware design and development.
• BE or M Tech in Electronics and Communication / Computer Science Engineering.
• Strong C programming skills for embedded firmware.
• Experience writing device drivers for microcontrollers (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
• Experience with 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers.
• Experience across the software development life cycle (requirements, design, coding, unit testing, system testing).
• Experience using version control systems, emulators, and debuggers.
