Engineer II

Overview

Engineer II role for a full stack software engineer building backend services and user-facing analytics experiences for operational insights in Anaplan.

What you'll do

• Build and support scalable REST services in Python.
• Develop and enhance web frontend features for embedded analytics and diagnostics experiences.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for services, jobs, and UI delivery.
• Write robust tests across UI and backend layers.
• Use SQL or PySpark to investigate underlying source data.
• Collaborate with product, data, and platform partners to deliver BI/analytics features in a trusted UI.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role with full-stack exposure or strong backend/data with frontend delivery.
• Solid programming skills in Python.
• Experience building or consuming REST services (Python preferred).
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript (preferred).
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
