Engineer II - Cloud

Overview

Engineer II - Cloud responsible for developing SOAR connectors and platform services that integrate security platforms with Falcon Fusion. The role focuses on scalable, reliable backend microservices and cloud engineering.

What you'll do

• Develop production-grade SOAR connectors for SIEM, EDR, ticketing, and IAM platforms.
• Contribute to authentication, execution, and orchestration platform services.
• Research and integrate new security platforms and APIs.
• Build automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Falcon environments.
• Write integration guides, API specifications, and troubleshooting runbooks.

What you'll need

• 4+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining software products or systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience operating services in production environments.
• Strong debugging and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Production experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Contributions to the open source community.
• Golang experience.
• Experience with cybersecurity platforms or integrations.
