Engineer II, Full-Stack Engineering

Overview

A versatile software engineer role working across multiple small to medium projects in an agile environment, owning the application lifecycle from stakeholder engagement through deployment and maintenance.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and maintain small to medium scale applications from conception to deployment
• Take full accountability for quality delivery and ongoing maintenance of software solutions
• Work independently when required, managing your own workload and priorities
• Architect and build incremental additions independently for existing or new solutions
• Contribute across the full technology stack, from front-end UI to back-end infrastructure
• Dive into unfamiliar codebases quickly and troubleshoot issues effectively
• Modernize and refactor older applications to improve performance and maintainability
• Develop new features, implement bug fixes, and onboard new projects seamlessly
• Adopt a security-first approach and produce secure, robust code
• Utilize AI tools to efficiently deliver application solutions
• Diagnose and resolve third-line support enquiries across any codebase
• Fix bugs and issues in both familiar and unfamiliar code
• Take accountability for all code produced, regardless of authorship
• Liaise directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business value
• Communicate task status clearly and proactively with stakeholders
• Ask for help when required and escalate issues appropriately
• Translate business needs into technical solutions

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field
• Front-end: React and Angular frameworks
• Back-end: strong understanding of .NET and C#
• Databases: SQL database experience
• Microsoft ecosystem: Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Ability to work across the full stack with confidence
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong self-governance and task management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development with or without mentorship
