Engineer III - FinOps Data Analytics (Remote)

Overview

Engineer III within the FinOps Data Analytics practice, helping build cost monitoring, optimization, and reporting capabilities for cloud spend.

What you'll do

• Implement cost monitoring and alerting solutions across cloud platforms under senior guidance.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to support cost optimization workflows.
• Help implement cost allocation and tagging for accurate cost attribution.
• Create and maintain cost optimization dashboards and reporting tools.
• Contribute to tooling for FinOps processes across product and platform groups.
• Participate in cost guardrails, automated policies, and cost overrun prevention.
• Troubleshoot cost-related technical issues and contribute to data quality initiatives for accurate cost reporting.

What you'll need

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with monitoring tools and basic observability concepts.
