Engineer III, Software Development - Insight

Overview

Engineer III role for developing a cloud-based network management (NMS) platform and enterprise-grade solutions for network infrastructure management.

What you'll do

• Own medium-complexity features end-to-end, including network device configuration modules and monitoring dashboards.
• Build integrations with various vendor network equipment APIs and management protocols.
• Create interactive charts, graphs, and network topology visualizations for real-time monitoring.
• Optimize performance for network telemetry data handling and real-time updates.
• Collaborate with backend teams to design APIs for network device management.
• Develop scripts and tools for network device provisioning and bulk configuration operations.
• Debug and resolve customer-reported issues in network management workflows.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years of software development experience with increasing responsibility.
• Frontend experience with React.js/Angular, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Java, including API development and database integration.
• Basic understanding of SNMP, SSH, and HTTP-based device management protocols.
• Experience with both relational databases and time-series databases for network metrics storage.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP services, especially networking and compute services.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
