Engineer III, Software Development - Insight

Overview

Engineer III responsible for developing a cloud-based network management platform, with ownership of software features, network device integrations, monitoring experiences, and real-time systems.

What you'll do

• Own medium-complexity features such as device configuration modules and monitoring dashboards.
• Develop integrations with network equipment APIs and management protocols.
• Create visualizations for real-time network monitoring.
• Optimize performance for network telemetry and real-time updates.
• Develop mobile applications, automation scripts, and provisioning tools.
• Debug customer issues and provide guidance through mentoring and code reviews.
• Research networking technologies and evaluate platform integration.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of software development experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with React.js or Angular, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Java, including APIs and databases.
• Understanding of SNMP, SSH, HTTP-based device management, and network monitoring.
• Experience with relational and time-series databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Exposure to networking concepts or infrastructure software.
