Engineer - Infrastructure Services N 4A

Overview

Support and evolve enterprise email, messaging, and identity infrastructure across Microsoft 365, Exchange, secure email gateways, Entra ID, and Active Directory. Use automation and AI tools to improve operations, security, and user experience.

What you'll do

• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and hybrid Exchange environments.
• Manage email routing, hygiene, authentication, and security policies.
• Troubleshoot mail-flow, delivery, performance, authentication, and directory issues.
• Administer Entra ID, user provisioning, SSO, conditional access, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Support on-premises Active Directory and Entra Connect synchronization.
• Use AI tools, PowerShell, and automation to improve workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Document systems and participate in on-call support as needed.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise email or messaging environments.
• Expertise with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Exchange Server.
• Experience with Cisco IronPort or similar secure email gateways.
• Experience with Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory.
• Understanding of SMTP, DNS, MX records, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• PowerShell scripting experience for administration and automation.
• Bachelor's degree in a listed technology-related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AI tools in IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI platforms.
• Experience with identity governance and conditional access policies.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and relevant certifications.
