Overview
Support, administer, architect, and engineer AWS and Azure infrastructure services, including cloud migration, security, high availability, automation, monitoring, and performance.
What you'll do
- Support AWS and Azure infrastructure administration.
- Migrate data from on-premise environments to AWS and Azure.
- Supervise and maintain AWS and Azure resources.
- Provide support to the Oracle EPM team.
- Harden operating systems according to business requirements.
- Solve end-user issues.
- Develop and maintain AWS and Azure cloud services in accordance with security and standards.
- Write solution design documents.
- Present solution definition documentation to the Architecture Review Council.
- Design architectures for high availability and a security-first approach.
- Design architectures for sizing, scalability, and performance.
- Remediate availability-, regulatory-, and performance-related operational deficiencies.
- Notify clients of changes to and adoptions of new cloud technology.
- Remain current in the knowledge and use of cloud technology, virtualization, compute, storage, and management products.
- Set up and handle monitoring and alerts using AWS and Azure portals.
- Administer AWS and Azure site recovery and high-availability setups.
- Architect and design solutions on AWS and Azure.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Database Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
- Must have worked on AWS and Azure portal administration.
- Strong scripting knowledge for automation.
- Specialist knowledge of AWS and Azure architecture and administration concepts.
- Good understanding of AWS and Azure automation and CI/CD tools.
- Sound knowledge of Ansible.
- Understanding of setting up and handling monitoring and alerts using AWS and Azure portals, without third-party tools.
- Sound experience with AWS and Azure site recovery and high-availability setup and administration.
- Knowledge of Linux, including Red Hat and OEL.
- Good knowledge of AWS and Azure security best practices.
- Exposure to CVS and GitHub.
- Hands-on experience migrating data from on-premise environments to AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and solving problems on AWS and Azure portals.
- Knowledge of ITIL Framework concepts.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and written skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud-native services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure container services.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts.
- Experience creating technical architecture documentation.
- Hands-on experience architecting and designing solutions on AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of public-cloud security controls, including encryption of data in motion and at rest and key management.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows containers.
- Experience with open-source cloud and configuration-management tools, including Terraform and Ansible.
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure products and services, including EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, ElastiCache, Kinesis, CloudTrail, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, IAM, Lambda, Connect, and RDS.
- Knowledge of Azure products and services, including Azure AD, VM, Blob, Key Vault, Log Analytics, Monitor, Azure databases including SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, Security Center, and Activity Log.
- English language proficiency at Proficient - C2 level.
Nice to have
- AWS and Azure certification would be an added advantage.
- Experience with alternate cloud providers, such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
