Overview
Engineer (IT EA DHI) building and enhancing data-driven applications for Micron’s Enterprise Applications organization.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain applications for the Data Hub & Integration (DHI) team.
- Support data warehousing and business intelligence needs.
- Build applications using .NET technologies and SQL Server.
- Develop and apply concepts for Gen AI app development (e.g., RAG, Agents, MCPs).
- Implement web frontend using JavaScript and React.
- Work with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and cloud application deployments.
What you'll need
- Strong conceptual knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Foundation in relational, NoSQL, and graph databases, including SQL.
- Programming concepts with object oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Python).
- Foundation in software architecture concepts and object oriented design patterns.
- Experience with micro-services architecture concepts.
- Experience with HTTP APIs (REST, gRPC) and Remote Procedure Calls.
- Knowledge of API authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0) and Microsoft Entra.
- Experience with version management tools (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker).
- Scripting language experience (PowerShell, bash).
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding analytical thinking and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented; ability to learn new concepts and languages quickly.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Snowflake and SQL Server database.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Knowledge of Extract, Load data pipelines.
