Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on JLL’s Leasing Engineering team, focused on designing, developing, and supporting business-critical leasing platforms.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and support leasing platforms used for global leasing operations.
• Build scalable, secure, high-performing applications across the full technology stack.
• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Data Engineers, and engineers to deliver digital solutions.
• Drive technical excellence and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Mentor team members and support delivery of innovative leasing technology.
• Use AI-powered development tools across the software development lifecycle.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with frontend and backend balance.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems design.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools.
