Engineer, Product Applications

Overview

Engineer, Product Applications (Application Development Engineer) supporting semiconductor inspection products through customer demonstrations, characterization, troubleshooting, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Support product value demonstration during beta testing, head-to-head (H2H), and ramp phase activities.
• Investigate semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and provide inspection solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations and assess potential applications to meet customer needs.
• Develop test plans and execute tool/algorithm characterization, feeding feedback to engineering teams.
• Respond to customer requests and perform routine to moderately complex problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Conduct customer product demonstrations and technical training, including on-site sessions.
• Document test results and lessons learned and transfer knowledge to Field Applications teams.

What you'll need

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related fields.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a strong team player.
• Must have >50% travel requirement.
• Minimum: Master’s degree or 0 years work experience.
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or 1 year work experience.
