Engineer/Senior Engineer – Installation responsible for supervising safety, quality, and productivity during installation and handovers in Bangalore.
What you'll do
- Supervise installation and handovers to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
- Raise and action corrective actions for non-conformities and resolve them with customers.
- Verify installation execution plan, pre-delivery responsibilities, and field cost management.
- Manage installation site preparations, logistics, materials requests, milestones, and Goods Receipt.
- Perform equipment final testing and complete handover to maintenance, closing raised items.
- Lead continuous huddles with the installation team and support lean continuous improvement.
- Serve as primary customer contact for site management and proactive communication.
What you'll need
- Accountability for safety, quality, and productivity during installation and handovers.
- Use correct installation methods and tools, including risk assessment where KONE methods aren’t feasible.
- Verify customer deliverables, site execution plans, and installation progress, status, costs, risks, and schedule changes.
- Plan and organize installation activities, site storage, logistics, tools, and needed resources.
- Verify contractors (installers/testers) are trained, certified, and competent for installation tasks.
- Follow and continually improve standard ways of working using LEAN principles and tools.
