SOTIF Engineer

Overview

Software engineer for the ADAS and Functional Safety team, focused on SOTIF analysis, safety metrics, and data pipelines for advanced driver assistance systems.

What you'll do

• Design and develop safety metrics for ADAS systems using Python.
• Build and maintain automated report generation pipelines and dashboards in Databricks.
• Analyze ADAS functionalities to propose measurable safety metrics.
• Perform system evaluation and risk assessment.
• Debug and resolve issues from production and development environments.
• Contribute to SOTIF (ISO 21448) analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate with data, perception, and validation teams.

What you'll need

• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Hands-on experience implementing the SOTIF (ISO 21448) process.
• Experience with large datasets and building data pipelines (Databricks preferred).
• Strong understanding of ADAS systems (SAE Level 2+ and above).
• Knowledge of FMEA, FTA, and HARA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks pipelines and dashboarding.
• Exposure to cloud-based data engineering workflows.
