EM - DI - SOTIF Engineer

Overview

Develop and deploy Safety of the Intended Functionality (SOTIF) processes and engineering activities for ADAS and autonomous driving features in compliance with ISO 21448.

What you'll do

• Develop, tailor, and deploy SOTIF processes.
• Create and maintain SOTIF work products, guidelines, checklists, and templates.
• Perform hazard identification and triggering condition analysis.
• Conduct scenario, functional insufficiency, and performance limitation analyses.
• Develop SOTIF argumentation and safety case documentation.
• Define SOTIF verification, validation, and safety validation strategies.
• Support scenario-based testing, simulation, and MIL/SIL/HIL validation.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of ISO 21448 SOTIF processes.
• Experience with SOTIF assessment methodologies for ADAS and autonomous driving features.
• Ability to evaluate known and unknown hazardous scenarios.
• Ability to analyze field data, test results, and performance limitations.
• Understanding of residual risk identification and safety-related scenario coverage.
• Ability to collaborate with test teams on verification and validation activities.
