Engineer - Service Desk P 4A

Overview

Engineer role in Genpact's Service Desk team, responsible for keeping IT infrastructure running and supporting end users.

What you'll do

• Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as updates, backups, and patches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from cyber threats.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end users on IT-related issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Database Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
• Required skills: ADM - APS & Others, Agile Methodology, Application Maintenance, Applications Support, Cloud Applications, Collaboration Tools, Consolidation Management, Design Thinking, End User Computing, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Executive Presence, Human Resources (HR), Inclusion, Personal Effectiveness, Storytelling.
• English language proficiency, Proficient - C2 (required).
