Overview

Electrical Design Engineer in Micron’s Systems Integration Group (SIG) designing load boards for semiconductor memory manufacturing testing and improving deployed automated test equipment (ATE) products.

What you'll do

• Design load board solutions using circuit theory and related design considerations.
• Develop requirements specifications.
• Perform analog and digital circuit design and simulation.
• Capture schematics and collaborate with layout designers to develop PCBs.
• Debug, verify, and debug/verify PCB assemblies using lab equipment.
• Author test plans and lab reports for load board and related testing.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily engineering work within organizational standards.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of basic concepts, principles, and theories in the technical discipline.
• Ability to apply learned technical concepts with significant guidance.
• Capability to conduct research, gather, and analyze information related to assigned technical topics.
• Use skills including analog/digital circuit design and simulation.
• Document and control designs.
• Manage engineering changes using version control processes.
• Use tools such as oscilloscope, power supply, electronic load, and TDR instruments.
