Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager who leads, coaches, and develops cross-functional software engineering teams and aligns delivery with product priorities.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams of software engineers.
• Translate between product and engineering and ensure delivery of promised outcomes.
• Drive high-performance team setup and focus on right priorities in the product plan.
• Act as a hands-on technical role model when needed.
• Collect and act on feedback from stakeholders across the organization.
• Define strategic direction and align engineering initiatives with company goals.
• Define and promote ways of working, hiring, and training strategies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or similar experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on software development/engineering experience.
• At least 2 years with people management responsibilities.
• 2+ years leading multi-disciplinary Agile development teams.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology (scrum or kanban).
• Very good understanding of CI, automated testing, release management, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with tools including Jira, Confluence, and Git.
