Associate QA Engineer

Overview

Associate QA Engineer to test banking-domain software by preparing test cases, executing tests, reporting and tracking defects, and resolving issue queries with stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Read and understand requirement and solution documents.
• Prepare and review test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute tests, report defects, analyze defects, and track defects until closure.
• Simulate and triage issues raised by customers.
• Address functional queries from stakeholders.
• Follow the testing plan/schedule and adhere to quality processes.

What you'll need

• Experience in testing software applications/packages in the banking domain.
• Good SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of testing processes and activities.
• Basic Unix knowledge.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of banking domain.
• Graduate or post graduate from a reputed university/college.

Nice to have

• GPP testing experience.
• Knowledge of Quality Centre/JIRA.
• Familiarity with deployment of web applications.
• Experience in web service testing using Soap UI.
• Experience working on automation tools.
