Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager role responsible for end-to-end delivery and execution of projects within product teams in Spain.

What you'll do

• Drive successful delivery and execution of projects across cross-functional teams.
• Translate product requirements into actionable EPICs, technical user stories, and tasks.
• Plan and lead sprint execution with defined goals, timelines, and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and align stakeholders to remove bottlenecks.
• Maintain high engineering quality through design leadership and participation in code reviews.
• Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and observability for owned services and meet SLIs/SLOs.

What you'll need

• 8-10 years of experience as a Software Developer/Software Engineer or similar hands-on role.
• 5+ years building production systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
• Agile experience including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
• Ability to translate complex product requirements into EPICs, user stories, and tasks.
• Experience with project planning and tracking tools for delivery timelines.
• Hands-on capability to debug complex production issues and lead incident response with blameless RCA.
