Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager for the Credit team, leading credit systems including a margin notification engine and a loan booking system.

What you'll do

• Lead reliability, precision, and efficiency of core credit applications.
• Drive technical roadmap decisions for refactoring and long-term system longevity.
• Streamline engineering workflows by removing friction and avoiding redundant/over-engineered solutions.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to prioritize deliverables and make trade-offs.
• Manage and mentor senior engineers across performance, career growth, and hiring/retention.
• Integrate modern development tools, including AI tools, into daily engineering processes.

What you'll need

• 2–3 years of hands-on people management experience (performance cycles, hiring, retention).
• Strong backend engineering foundation with primary proficiency in Python.
• Proven ability to make decisive calls on technical scope and feature trade-offs.
• Pragmatic engineering approach for realistic, scope-appropriate solutions.
