Engineering Manager- Data Science (Search and Match)

Overview

Engineering Manager for Data Science focused on Search and Match, leading data science initiatives to develop AI/ML and NLP solutions for product use cases.

What you'll do

• Build AIML models for content generation, recommendation, and moderation using LLMs.
• Convert business requirements into robust data science algorithms.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of data science engineers.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML, NLP, statistical, and content recommendation algorithms (including non-LLM approaches).
• Create model validation frameworks.
• Deliver end-to-end products and features with cross-functional teams.
• Distill complex analytical results into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.

What you'll need

• Proven experience solving open-ended business problems with data-science/ML/AI from ideation to production-ready solutions.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
• 10+ years of working experience in ML/Data science with NLP background.
• Experience with prompt optimization frameworks such as langChain or crewai.
• Must have delivered multiple data science products in production.
• Experience leading a team of 3-5 data scientists.
