Engineering Manager - Product Tech

Overview

Engineering Manager for H&M Product Tech, leading delivery and operational excellence for large-scale digital products within the Product domain.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for one or more large-scale, complex products or services.
• Translate business and product goals into technical direction, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with the Production Office to prioritize and deliver technology and data use cases.
• Lead dual delivery with the Product Manager to balance priorities, feasibility, capacity, and scalability.
• Establish secure, resilient data platforms, pipelines, and data products for analytics and operational use cases.
• Shape engineering quality through KPIs, incident handling, and adherence to architectural standards.
• Manage tech costs (budget, forecast, actuals) and contribute to investment planning.

What you'll need

• 10+ years engineering leadership experience delivering complex, large-scale technology solutions.
• Corporate leadership experience with direct budget responsibility and cost management/accountability.
• People leadership experience including recruitment and performance management.
• Ownership of delivery outcomes across scope, timeline, quality, risks, and dependencies.
• Engineering leadership in corporate custom software development using Microsoft technologies, including Azure.
• Strong technical understanding of agile, DevOps, scalable architecture, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with vendors and external partners.
