ETL Informatica Developer-IT

Overview

ETL Informatica Developer role supporting Data Integration Engineering using Informatica PowerCenter and related data integration technologies.

What you'll do

• Analyze data requirements and data models to determine extraction, transformation, and loading methods.
• Perform source system analysis and design extract logic.
• Architect solutions and implement/expand data pipelines via extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Investigate ETL pipeline issues and perform data comparisons for unit testing.
• Design and develop Informatica mappings, mapplets, and workflows.
• Write shell scripts or Python scripts for in-house automation and prepare design documents and test cases.

What you'll need

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Data Warehousing environment.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, migration, and replication using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Hands-on database experience including PL/SQL and SQL.
• Experience tuning, re-writing, and fine-tuning SQL queries.
• Ability to write complex Unix shell and Python scripts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud data integration tools.
• Preferred experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) environments.
• Preferred knowledge of Qlik Replicate, big data, APIs, and cloud data integration tools.
