Fabric+Pyspark+SQL - Manager

Overview

As a Fabric+Pyspark+SQL Manager in PwC’s Data and Analytics Engineering team, you lead data engineering work that turns data into actionable insights for clients.

What you'll do

• Lead data engineering projects and manage client expectations.
• Guide teams in strategic planning and execution of data modernization initiatives.
• Use Apache Hadoop, Apache Airflow, and Databricks to improve data processing and analytics.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
• Develop and oversee data architecture and data modeling strategies.
• Validate data quality, security, and compliance in data frameworks.
• Coach and mentor junior staff in data engineering and analytics.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8+ years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.
• Proficiency using AWS and Microsoft Azure Databricks.
• Experience utilizing Apache Hadoop and Apache Airflow for data engineering projects.
• Experience in data architecture development and data integration strategies.

Nice to have

• Preference for fields of study including Management Information Systems or Computer and Information Science (and other listed engineering/math/statistics fields).
• Snowflake and Databricks platform experience for data warehousing solutions.
• Leading teams in agile scalability and data transformation initiatives.
• Embracing change and fostering innovation in data modernization efforts.
