Field Applications Engineer (TEM)

Overview

Field Applications Engineer (TEM) providing professional technical support to semiconductor customers for integrating microscopy tools into lab and fab processes.

What you'll do

• Provide on-site technical support, primarily in Hillsboro, Oregon.
• Support tool acceptance and new technologies on location with product and service teams.
• Develop applications and provide assistance for application development with customers.
• Collect and share detailed technical feedback to product teams on customer needs and field performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams on product acceptance and development.
• Develop innovative solutions to customer challenges and explain the technology.

What you'll need

• Undergraduate degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) equipment and applications.
• Expert understanding of semiconductor processing, statistical process control, device physics, and failure analysis techniques.
• Coding or scripting experience is required to be a plus: C#, Python, MATLAB, etc.
• Excellent clear interpersonal skills to build productive customer relationships.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) and have a valid passport.
