Field Engineer – (Silent Sentinel)

Overview

Field Engineer role managing deployment of Silent Sentinel video surveillance hardware and software to ensure reliable system performance at customer locations.

What you'll do

• Assist partners and customers with staging, installation, and field deployment of Silent Sentinel video surveillance solutions and hardware.
• Develop, design, document, and articulate video surveillance solutions and architecture consistent with project, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate system specifications, network capacity, and project scope of work to ensure integrity of system design.
• Handle software configuration, testing, and initial configuration optimization to ensure system compatibility across diverse customer environments.
• Conduct product testing, demonstrations, and technical discussions to articulate differentiated value propositions to stakeholders.
• Provide onsite technical support and assistance to integrators and key project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to provide technical reports, insights, and assistance as needed to resolve customer inquiries and issues.

What you'll need

• High School diploma, or Bachelor's Degree, or 3+ years of experience in one of the following: Engineering, Computer Science, Networking, IT, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
• Must have 3+ years of experience working in a Field Service environment.
• Must have proven experience executing field deployments, including the physical installation, staging, and initial configuration of mission-critical systems.
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
• Must be able to travel between 50% to 75% as required for this position.
• Must comply with all Motorola policies, standards, and code of conduct, and pass necessary background checks required for customer site access.
• Subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's CJIS Security Policy, requiring a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written as required for this position.
• Ability to travel to customer locations, subcontractor offices, and project sites for walks, surveying, design, integration, and troubleshooting as required.

• Location: Florida; remote work.
• Travel: 50-75% as required.
• Target base salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 USD.
• Employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
