Job description
Overview
Field Engineer for a transmission line project supporting an Independent Engineer through on-site monitoring, QA/QC, and technical supervision to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
What you'll do
- Monitor and inspect transmission line construction and erection activities.
- Verify contractor work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure QA/QC compliance and safety adherence at site.
- Coordinate with contractor, client, and the internal project team.
- Report deviations/non-conformances and track corrective actions.
- Maintain site documentation and progress reports.
- Support material inspection, testing, and commissioning.
What you'll need
- Have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in transmission line construction/supervision (765kV/400kV/220kV preferred).
- Be familiar with Independent Engineer (IE) monitoring functions.
