Field Engineer -Transmission Line

Overview

Field Engineer for a transmission line project supporting an Independent Engineer through on-site monitoring, QA/QC, and technical supervision to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Monitor and inspect transmission line construction and erection activities.
• Verify contractor work against approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and safety adherence at site.
• Coordinate with contractor, client, and the internal project team.
• Report deviations/non-conformances and track corrective actions.
• Maintain site documentation and progress reports.
• Support material inspection, testing, and commissioning.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in transmission line construction/supervision (765kV/400kV/220kV preferred).
• Be familiar with Independent Engineer (IE) monitoring functions.
