Field Service Application Engineer, Spectroscopy

Overview

Field Service Application Engineer for spectroscopy applications, providing hands-on technical support to customers.

What you'll do

• Support customers on-site with installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of analytical systems.
• Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products, and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems in spectroscopy workflows.
• Provide application support across spectroscopy products (e.g., ICPMS/ICPOES) and sample prep.
• Deliver product demos, proof-of-performance studies, and feasibility evaluations.
• Advises customers on preventive maintenance and configurations to prevent performance impacts.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in analytical laboratories, food testing labs, technical support, applications, or method development.
• Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with spectroscopy instruments including ICP-MS and ICPOES.
• Ability to interpret complex data and troubleshoot confidently.
• Clear, engaging communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and engage with customers across the region.

• Work involves 100% travel and a day shift.
