Equipment Service Specialist I

Overview

Service Engineer – Equipment Support at MKS Atotech India provides equipment support to assigned customers, including on-site breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and training. The role includes customer relationship management and coordination with internal teams; location is Mysore.

What you'll do

• Provide immediate on-site equipment support during machine breakdowns to achieve targeted MTTR.
• Plan and execute periodic preventive maintenance procedures.
• Implement retrofit and upgrades to target MTBF and improve machine availability.
• Support auxiliary equipment by implementing an auxiliary equipment strategy to optimize chemistry performance.
• Train customer personnel on periodic maintenance schedules and breakdown resolution.
• Build customer relationships, address inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong electro-mechanical knowledge.
• Diploma Electronics Engineering with higher relevant experience could be considered.
• Experience with the latest equipment control processes.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in equipment support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
