Field Specialist III - PRP

Overview

Field Specialist (Cementer) responsible for cementing and allied pumping jobs during drilling of oil and gas wells.

What you'll do

• Carry out casing cementation for all sizes of casing.
• Carry out liner cementation for all sizes of liners.
• Carry out stage cementation for all sizes of casings.
• Carry out BOP stack testing up to 15,000 psi or as required.
• Carry out acid jobs and other allied jobs.
• Carry out squeeze jobs, plug jobs and retainer jobs.
• Carry out diesel pumping, packer and other pressure pumping jobs.
• Carry out leak off tests.
• Carry out miscellaneous pressure testing up to 15,000 psi.
• Ensure all jobs are done within recommended specifications, procedures and policies.
• Operate and maintain reputed makes/types of cementing units, batch mixers and cement heads.
• Apply knowledge of cement additives, their functions and factors influencing slurry design.

What you'll need

• Passed at least SSC or equivalent, and a trade certificate from a reputed vocational institute.
• Basic training in cementing from a reputed cementing school, such as Halliburton / Dowell Schlumberger / BJ / IDT (ONGC) or any other reputed cementing school.
• Basic understanding of the English language.
• Five (5) years of experience performing cementing services independently, of which at least 2 years should be in offshore areas.
• Well conversant with all aspects of cementing and allied pumping jobs.
• Experience operating and maintaining reputed makes/types of cementing units.

Nice to have

• Agile and of sound health to carry out vigorous operational and maintenance work on cementing units.
