Sales Order Management Specialist

Overview

Execute customer purchase orders and ensure all order-related activities comply with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets and schedule commitments.

What you'll do

• Review and acknowledge the order file received from the Sales team.
• Coordinate with SCM in Saudi Arabia to issue the internal PO to the respective PGHV factory.
• Coordinate with the factory for order acknowledgement and resolve technical and commercial queries.
• Follow up with the customer on advance invoice, proforma invoice for the LC, tax invoice and other commercial documents.
• Manage cash collection.
• Coordinate between the customer and factory project manager to ensure delivery is as planned and agreed.
• Coordinate with local SCM and logistics teams on shipment (for DDP delivery) and ensure materials are delivered with a signed delivery note.
• Handle project closeout and archiving.
• Adhere to the organization's order management processes.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with OHS group guidelines.
• Ensure Hitachi Energy integrity guidelines are followed in the team.
• Ensure IS security policy is followed in the team.
• Act as a role model for the team.
• Collaborate closely and connect regularly with all relevant stakeholders and functions.
• Manage expectations of customers and internal stakeholders across diverse geographies and cultures.
• Communicate with various disciplines and ensure everyone understands and is committed to their contributing task.
• Anticipate potential problems or delays and proactively raise concerns.

What you'll need

• Excellent skills in speaking, reading and writing English.
• Graduate in Electrical Engineering with minimum 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in order management.
• Familiarity with working in SAP.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills to convince customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure to manage customer expectations.

Nice to have

• Experience handling High Voltage Substation components.
