Field Technical support Associate

Overview

Field Technical Support Associate provides site support for customers, including installations, maintenance, repairs, and assistance with IT infrastructure issues.

What you'll do

• Interact with customers to clarify and meet their needs following established procedures.
• Perform installations, reinstallations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment using industry standards.
• Deliver standardized services that meet established quality benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within IT infrastructure including enterprise systems, servers, storage, and networking.
• Maintain departmental documentation on work orders, software, inventory, and other required paperwork.
• Provide site support for break-fix activity and technical assistance to third-party and channel authorized service providers.

What you'll need

• Have a High School Diploma/GED/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience demonstrating competence.
• Typically have 0-2 years of work experience.
• Prefer experience related to HP products in customer base, account management, computer customer support, or on-site customer support.
• Work on routine assignments with limited judgment or minimal problem resolution under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality in dealings involving company data.
