Finance Manager - Corporate Accounting

Overview

Manager – Corporate Accounting responsible for leading a team of accountants and owning accurate, timely period close, compliance, and audit support, while improving accounting processes and controls.

What you'll do

• Oversee, support, and develop a team of accountants.
• Ensure period close activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and ad-hoc reports.
• Assist and liaise with auditors to resolve audit queries.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and transformation initiatives for accounting processes, systems, efficiency, and controls.
• Plan and execute work allocation and monitor progress for timely deliverables.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and practices.
• CPA certification and/or a Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferred) or a master’s degree in finance & accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to automate tasks.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of lease accounting and warranty accounting, and financial statement components.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606.

Details

• Experience/knowledge of applying AI in Finance is an added advantage.
• Added advantage: working knowledge of SAP Fiori, FloQast, Lease Query, and Workiva.
