Overview
Senior Business Systems Analyst for Anthropic’s Finance Systems team, serving as the internal functional lead for Workday Business Assets and Lease Management.
What you'll do
- Lead Workday configuration for business assets, including asset books, classes, useful lives, depreciation profiles, and capitalization rules.
- Own end-to-end lease administration and lease accounting in Workday and lease management platforms, including ASC 842 reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to manage technology infrastructure assets across procurement through capitalization, transfers, and retirement.
- Support Workday Financials core financials (R2R) as a secondary focus, ensuring FDM alignment for asset and lease transactions.
- Build and maintain asset rollforwards, depreciation forecasts, lease disclosure schedules, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate across integration, security, and financials configuration teams to align master data, journals, controls, and SLAs.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in finance systems, ERP implementation, or business systems analysis.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience, including Business Assets.
- Hands-on lease management experience and lease accounting under ASC 842 in major lease management platforms.
- Deep expertise in Workday Business Assets configuration (asset books, depreciation methods, capitalization thresholds, CIP tracking, mass asset transactions, transfers, disposals).
- Strong fixed asset accounting process knowledge, including capitalization policies, useful life determination, impairment assessment, and asset reconciliation to the general ledger.
- Experience with full ERP implementation lifecycles including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover planning, and hypercare.
