Financial Analyst 5

Overview

Financial Analyst 5 role focused on FP&A forecasting, requisition/spend management, and month-end/quarter-end close activities.

What you'll do

• Lead bottom-up forecasting and validate assumptions for operating expenses, headcount, and project spend.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forward-looking projections.
• Review forecasts, prepare variance analyses, and highlight risks/opportunities for executives.
• Oversee purchase requisitions, vendor spend planning, and employee requisitions for new hires/replacements.
• Manage OPEX against budget and forecast and provide insights to optimize spend.
• Run month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accrual preparation and variance commentary.
• Act as central point of contact for Finance forecasting and close processes and coordinate inputs/assumptions.

What you'll need

• 10+ years progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial close processes.
• Experience managing purchase requisitions, vendor spend, or OPEX governance.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• CPA or CFA certifications.
