Financial Planning Lead Analyst

Overview

Financial Planning Lead Analyst role supporting management, dissemination, and integrity of key financial information for Sector Leadership.

What you'll do

• Prepare standard and ad hoc reports analyzing business results vs Plan, previous forecast, and prior year.
• Work with Electrical groups/divisions to gather insights and summarize them for Sector leadership.
• Support monthly financial reporting with high-quality, timely, and accurate information.
• Produce accurate financial data in short turnaround times to meet Sector reporting deadlines.
• Create quarter-end analyses covering orders, backlog, and end market information used in external earnings release.
• Support annual preparation of the Electrical Sector profit plan, including consolidating reports and aiding CEO/CFO review materials.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 9–12 years of experience.
• Finance/accounting background with varied business experience.
• Technical proficiency in Oracle (preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with visual reporting tools (e.g., AI/Power BI) for executive-level reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to identify root-cause issues and recommend resolutions.
• Solid communication and presentation skills across executive and sector finance stakeholders.
