Specialist, Finance Automations

Overview

Finance Automations Specialist in Invesco’s Global Business Services (GBS) Finance group in Hyderabad, partnering with FP&A to automate reporting and forecasting and improve variance analysis.

What you'll do

• Partner with FP&A teams to understand business drivers for expenses, revenues, and AUM.
• Ensure timely completion of daily and monthly deliverables aligned with client expectations.
• Perform detailed variance analysis at the General Ledger level across business units.
• Lead training sessions for new hires and support knowledge transfer for client-driven projects.
• Drive transformation initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and simplification.
• Design and implement AI/ML-driven solutions for forecasting, anomaly detection, and variance analysis.
• Integrate Generative AI tools to automate reporting, commentary generation, and financial insights.

What you'll need

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and Alteryx, plus Tableau, Power Apps, and Power BI for analysis and visualization.
• Experience with Oracle or similar financial systems.
• Working knowledge of Machine Learning concepts (regression, classification, clustering).
• Experience with Python/R for data analysis and model development.
• Alteryx designer core certification is must; Power BI certification is an added advantage.
• Commerce graduate or MBA in Finance with development experience on technical tools.

• Location: Hyderabad, Telangana.
• Employment: full-time employee.
• Workplace model: work in designated office at least three days a week, with two days working outside an Invesco office.
