Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting

Overview

Financial Analyst role supporting cost accounting activities for Flex sites in Chennai.

What you'll do

• Support cost accounting activities of Flex sites.
• Stay conversant with Flex policies and updates.
• Collaborate with Flex counterparts to fix issues and address root causes.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and metrics improvement.
• Support month-end finalization with site finance.
• Drive process improvement projects for the supported site.
• Contribute to site operating profit through intense analysis, reviews and calls.
• Ensure activities performed are under the scope of SOX.
• Gain customer confidence through collaboration and focus.
• Work on standardization and implementation of best practices with counterparts.
• Provide training and mentor new joiners.

What you'll need

• B.com, BBA, MBA, B.com CA, M.com or MBA degree.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• MS Office.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles.
• Understand and interpret accounting policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of MS applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Good team player and ability to work under a complex work environment.
