Industrial Controller

Overview

Management Controller in the Site Financial Control organization at Valeo's Chennai site, responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and management control.

What you'll do

• Prepare the elements for reporting, the budget, the business plan and the forecasts.
• Follow and analyse actual results versus forecast and versus budget on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure accuracy of management control and costing information in the site ERP system.
• Ensure reliability of site gross margin and site below gross margin expenses during the closing process.
• Manage the activity of the controlling department so that the company's activity is performed in the most efficient and most profitable way and complies with local laws and Group Valeo standards (especially MAF and LSF).
• Alert the Financial Controller immediately of any important risk for the company and/or its employees.
• Contact Product Lines or Regional Operations to manage correct operation of the GPS module.
• Continuously improve knowledge of the IS module, including Comp@ss day and Comp@ss Academy.
• Approve E-proc requests.
• Contribute to the Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting the Code of Ethics and Valeo's policies.
