Overview

The Financial Data Analyst (Reference Data/Financial Instruments) in the Data Management team collects, analyzes, and interprets financial data to support business decisions.

What you'll do

• Collect and analyze financial data to support decision-making and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders with timely and accurate delivery.
• Collaborate with IT, business teams, and finance professionals to meet business requirements for financial data.
• Validate and reconcile financial data to ensure consistency across systems and reports.
• Monitor and track key financial metrics and provide insights on performance and trends.
• Help with data migration, integration, and system updates to support smooth data operations.

What you'll need

• Typically 2–4 years of experience in financial data analysis.
• Experience assisting with financial reporting and dashboards.
• Ability to ensure data quality through validation and reconciliation.
• Experience collaborating across IT, business teams, and finance professionals.
• Experience monitoring financial metrics for insights into performance and trends.
• Support data integration and reconciliation processes to maintain data accuracy.
